Maternal Ecopsychology Certification™ Course

An in-depth advanced training for helping professionals

Reimagining maternal care through ecological, trauma-informed, and politically grounded practice

This certification offers an interdisciplinary framework for understanding maternal mental health in the context of climate crisis, systemic oppression, and ecological belonging. Designed for therapists, educators, doulas, activists, and care workers, the course draws from peer-reviewed research, clinical insight, and developmental theory to expand how we understand and support mothers.

You’ll explore how maternal distress is often rooted not in personal pathology, but in broken systems—ecological, relational, and cultural. This training challenges conventional narratives and invites practitioners to engage with motherhood as both a site of deep vulnerability and profound ecological intelligence.

I very much enjoyed the Maternal Ecopsychology Training Program with Allie. The course was expertly designed and delivered, combining the insightful theoretical aspects with practical strategies for real-world applications that I could immediately see the deep sense of and integrate into my therapeutic practice in supporting mothers. Allie is knowledgeable, engaging, and was genuinely invested in our learning and growth throughout the course. I’ve gained invaluable insights into the evolution of the field and the collaborative environment fostered meaningful connections with my peers from around the world. I look forward to seeing this area of practice flourish in the coming years.

Allie is an extraordinary teacher. Her academic depth is immense, yet she communicates with such clarity, enthusiasm, and presence that even complex concepts feel tangible and applicable. Even in an online format, her ability to foster connection and engagement is remarkable. I feel truly seen, both by her and by my fellow students, as we co-create an interconnected learning space that mirrors the very principles we study.

The Maternal Ecopsychology program has been a transformative experience, seamlessly weaving together my diverse passions and work. It has deepened my understanding of eco-resilience and how honoring the lived experiences of mothers and their eco-awakenings can be powerful catalysts for personal and collective healing. Additionally, this program has enriched my work in land regeneration by offering valuable insights into the interconnectedness of human and ecological health. By applying what I am learning, I am better equipped to create spaces that honor both the Earth and the mothers who care for it.
